ARECA is focused on enhancing the sustainability and profitability of agriculture in Alberta. ARECA and its member associations conduct producer-driven applied research and extension in the areas of crops, forage and livestock. ARECA is unique in that it works to achieve sustainability and profitability for Alberta producers through partnerships, communication and coordination, effective representation and conference hosting on a provincial level. ARECA remains on the forefront with new and emerging technology and practices and on-farm research. ARECA's programs such as the Environmentally Sustainable Agriculture Initiatives Program (ESAIP) and Sustainable Grazing Mentorship Program allow Alberta producers to be the leader in environmental and economical sustainability.
