sustainable grazing mentorship program

The Sustainable Grazing Mentorship Program is responsible for Grazing Mentorship Counseling Services in specific areas around Alberta, and is administered by ARECA.

For a nominal fee of $100, the program provides clients access to qualified mentors who understand grazing.  These consultants work with you to explore options and develop a plan for your future success, and will work with you for up to 16 hours creating grazing plans, developing systems and performing economic analyses of the client's enterprise.

The Program's services will help to:

     Improve grazing management

Get advice from another producer with significant experience

Develop a whole farm plan for your future

     Establish healthier pastures

     Deal with environmental issues

Get information on fencing and watering systems

     Be more profitable!

The Sustainable Grazing Mentorship Program is funded by Growing Forward (through Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development)
